40.000 TEACHERS RECEIVED PATENT TRAINING AS A PART OF 1000 SCHOOLS IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROJECT

The Ministry of National Education continues to take strong steps as a part of 1000 schools in the Vocational Education Project. The Ministry organized a two-month long training program on intellectual property and industrial rights for school administrators and teachers working in selected 1000 schools. All 40 thousand teachers working in vocational schools attended the training program. The Ministry allocated 176 million lira financial support to schools selected to be a part of this project.

The Ministry of National Education has organized a two-month long training program on  intellectual property and industrial rights for more than 40.000 school administrators and teachers working in schools selected as part  of the "1000 schools in Vocational Education Project" initiated in an effort to reduce success rate differences between schools and reinforce vocational education.
 
The Ministry staged many activities as a part of its project to reinforce the infrastructure of selected schools and allocated 176 million liras in 2020 within the framework of the project.
 
In addition to professional improvement training programs, the Ministry was also aiming at giving intellectual and industrial property rights training to all teachers working in these schools.
 
BİLSEM teachers lead training programs
Deputy Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stressed that the 1000 schools in the Vocational Education Project was initiated in an effort to reduce success rate differences between schools and reinforce vocational education and it's a largely participated project including school administrators, teachers, students, parents and school in a school environment.
 
Noting that the Ministry had taken important steps as a part of this project, Özer said, "Activities concerning the project are carried out as planned. We have allocated 176 million liras in 2020 within the framework of the project. One of the goals of the project was to give professional improvement training for the administrators and teachers in the selected 1000 schools. Within this framework, Directorate General for Special Education and Guidance Services prepared a two-month long training program on intellectual property and industrial rights and lessons were given by the teachers working in the Science and Arts Centers (BİLSEM).
