"We have a giant education system with 19 million students and 1.2 million teachers. Competitiveness of our country gradually increases as a result of accessibility to education. As the Ministry of National Education we continue to work day and night in order to increase accessibility by focusing on equal opportunity in education," said Özer.

"The Directorate General for Lifelong Learning focuses on adult education," stated Özer adding that the Ministry organizes more than three thousand course and training programs at its more than one thousand public education centers in order to provide free education services to adults.

Özer went on to say that: "We continue to work day and night in order to give education to both children and adults as a part of our goal to increase the quality of human resources, the most permanent capital of our country. Our goal in 2022 was to reach one million people every month. Normally, four or five million people attend public education courses and training programs every year but this year we set a higher goal and aimed at giving education to one million people every month. At the end of 10th month, we see that we have reached ten and a half million people and 60 percent of these were women. Our ministry continues to support and provide training mechanisms that empower women and improve their employment abilities."

Özer stressed that the Ministry initiated a new 44 hour-long training program campaign in last August that focuses on family with the purpose of reminding cultural values to families, supporting communication within the family and psychosocial development and preventing substance addiction.

"On August 18, 2021, we started a Family School Project in 81 cities of the country with the support of Emine Erdoğan. Our goal was to reach one million families by the end of 2022. As of today, we have reached five hundred and fifty thousand families and we will increase this figure to more than one million until the end of this year. Our goal for 2023 is to reach two and a half million families," said Özer.

Özer stressed that his Ministry will always support families, the nucleus of society, against global threats and raise their awareness about threats.

"We engage in a new cooperation by including traffic knowledge to Family School program"
Özer said that they signed cooperation and support protocols with the Ministry of Interior Affairs before and added, "Now, we engage in a new cooperation by including a traffic knowledge module to the Family School program. Parents who completed the family school program will also adapt traffic awareness and complete the traffic training module."

Noting that the training program will make roads safer, Özer went on to say that, "We will give support to the Ministry of Interior Affairs in order to maintain safer traffic in the country. Our Ministry has inaugurated two thousand village public centers with the support of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. We expanded the family school project to villages."

"We set the goal to reach the level of developed countries about traffic"
