Minister Özer stated that his Ministry has been focusing on public education centers this year and their goal is to reach 1 million people every month.

"1,000 Public Education Centers are giving education to our people. Within this framework, we gave education to 8 million people in 8 months. Approximately 70 percent of these people were women. These centers are important for increasing the employment ability of our women and supporting their independence," said Özer.

For the first time in the history of our ministry, we opened three public education centers specially designed for disabled adults in İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir. Our Ministry is providing free transportation for disabled adults and their parents. We are giving 6 or 8 hours of education every day and we provide free meals," said Özer.
