The studies carried out by the Ministry of National Education to expand preschool education as part of equality of opportunities in education witnessed significant successes.

 

Stating that their story is a story of effort and perseverance dedicated to the children of this country, Özer stated that working with determination they increased the schooling rate in 3 year age group from 9 percent to 21 percent, 4 year age group from 16 percent to 42 percent and the five year age group from 65 to 99.9 percent in one year.

 

Announcing that the schooling rates in all levels of education have exceeded 99 percent, Özer noted that schooling rates among the 5 year old age group have reached 99.9 percent in preschool, 99.5 percent in primary school, and 99.1 percent in secondary and high school.
