Urging everyone to follow the measures, especially during Eid, so that the number of Covid-19 cases would not rise, Selçuk stated that they wanted to open schools on September 6.

In response to the question whether the activities of "I' am in the Remedial Training Too" program implemented by the Ministry take place in all provinces to help students spend their holidays productively, Selçuk said that there are approximately 8 million students participating in all districts of 81 provinces.

In response to a question regarding the contribution of the I am at the remedial training too program to students by revealing their talents, Selçuk reminded that they carried out a work with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to determine the sports field that children are prone to.

Pointing out that many activities were organized within the scope of this program, Selçuk explained that the areas in which children are talented have also emerged in activities like archery, chess, and dart.

Minister Selçuk underlined that students from all provinces can participate in the Remedial Training Too program whenever they want.

Opening date of schools
In response to the question on the opening date of schools, Minister Selçuk said, "Turkey should not have anything more important than opening schools at this moment."

Calling all citizens to comply with Covid-19 measures during the Eid qurban, Selçuk said, "Let's be careful during the Eid qurban period, let's do whatever it takes to prevent the number of cases from increasing. Let's do this for the future of our children, for the future of this country, for the mental health of the children and of this country. We need this."

Stressing that everyone should do their part for the reopening of schools, Selçuk emphasized that, "We will open schools. This country should not keep its children at home, and teachers should not tire anymore. We should not tire our parents anymore. We should open our schools, I hope we will open them on September 6. Together we will do whatever is necessary for reopening of the schools."
