Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk shared a video message for parents on the occasion of the start of the second education term.

In his speech, Minister Selçuk said, "Dear Parents, I salute you with respect. I would like to thank you all for your sincere support despite all uncertainties that emerged due to the global pandemic."

Noting that he is aware of the problems and efforts to parents who turned their homes into a school and rooms at home into a classroom, Selçuk went on to say: "We have prepared world standard education contents and systems in an effort to provide better education opportunities for our children. At the beginning of the new term, we need your support for the reinforcement of our education program. During this process, it is very important for your children to lead a regular life, have well-planned nutrition and sleeping order and they need a peaceful home environment. My request from you is to encourage your children to attend live lessons and to follow TRT EBA channels and reinforce their relations with their teachers and school."

Minister Selçuk asked parents whose children started face to face education to provide required hygiene conditions and added: "It will be useful to remind your children to keep extra hygiene products and spare masks in their school bags. Let me repeat that children must see their parents reading books in order to adopt reading books. I wish that the new term would bring nice things to you and your children."
