With the Family School project, which was expanded to 81 provinces with the opening ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife Emine Erdoğan on August 12, 2022, parents are supported in multiple was in 14 different fields such as social skills, family communication management, use of technology, moral development, stress management, healthy nutrition, environment and first aid.

 

Training is given in 1000 public education centers in 81 provinces. Mukhtars were also included in the training, which was constantly updated and provided for people from different segments. Lectures in 14 areas determined by the Family School project are given to mukhtars from all over Türkiye.

 

Making an assessment on the subject, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that the scope of the Family School project is constantly being expanded. Reminding that they included mukhtars to the project in order to encourage the authority of the mukhtars and strengthen their communication with their families within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed with the Ministry of Interior, Özer reminded that they provided training to 40 thousand mukhtars on many different subjects within a short period of time. Adding that the mukhtars showed great interest in these trainings. Özer said that they aim to reach all mukhtars with the project.

 

Reminding that the trainings are given in 1000 public education centers all over Türkiye, Minister Özer stated that in line with the target of reaching 2.5 million families in 2023, they will continue to improve the scope and content of the Family School project day by day.
